The electrified fleet is a more attractive means of transport, also thanks to its modern technology, safety and reliability. The latest passenger information system is also an advantage for its users: as a matter of fact, Aesys has equipped the trains with almost 1400 signs: front and side LED destinations signs and on-board displays that assure updated information for passengers; moreover, 400 displays are going to be delivered as part of a further order extension.

During the last years, New Zealand’s rail network has been developing, while some fleets have become electrified. The new Auckland’s fleet is composed of 57 electric trains, which could carry up to 380 seated passengers each.
