A fully automatic line for Istanbul

The Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy (UUC) line is a fully automated metro line in Istanbul. On this line, 21 driverless trains, operated from a remote command center, use an automatic driving system, the first one in Turkey.

The line is going to have 16 stations that can connect the most important sectors of the city and further on, link the 2 major transportation systems as the Bus Rapid Transit (Metrobus) and the Marmaray intercontinental undersea subway.
The line will improve the traffic in the Anatolian part of Istanbul, reducing the travel duration between Üsküdar and Ümraniye to only 27 minutes.
Aesys has provided several types of products, such as: around 1000 RGB map lines, 210 on-board next stop LED signs and 42 front LED destination signs.
