| Aesys was awarded a major contract to supply an LED display system for NTV, the first private high-speed rail operator in Italy, with initial installations in Milan, Naples, Bologna, Florence, and Rome. The Aesys displays are featured in the “Casa Italo,” waiting rooms at each major station designed to provide service information and comfort to NTV’s guests in an ultramodern environment. Each display system shows real time arrival and departure information through scrolling text that wraps around the walls of the waiting rooms. The allusion of continuous text on a screen is made possible by a series of interconnected high visibility white LED displays installed behind translucent polycarbonate plates. In the coming months, installations will be completed in Venice, Mestre, Turin, Padua, and Salerno.
