Aesys to supply destination signs to MTA New York City Transit

90 new Prevost X3-45 motor express coaches purchased by MTA New York City Transit will feature the Aesys VerbaBus LED destination signs on the front, side, and rear.

| These displays are characterized by readability at any viewing angle, high contrast in all light conditions, maintenance free operation, resistance to many environmental conditions, and low power consumption.
The VerbaBus destination display signs have been installed on thousands of buses of many of the world’s most respected transit agencies and coach companies in the United States and Canada, South America, Europe, and Asia. “The latest delivery of displays builds on our relationship with Prevost,” said Colin McGregor, managing director of Aesys Inc. “We are proud that our displays are able to contribute to the coaches’ low operating costs, ease of maintenance, and low energy consumption.”
The first delivery will be later this month with the remaining coaches arriving between October 2011 and January 2012. |
